Deer Lake State Park
This state park is roughly half a mile away from Prominence (about a three-minute golf cart ride). Upon arrival, you will see a small parking lot that requires an entry fee of $3 per vehicle (2 to 8 passengers) or $2 per pedestrian/bicyclist/extra passengers. There is a long scenic boardwalk that brings you from the parking lot to the beach and is a 5-8 minute walk. Be sure to get there early, as there is limited parking, and they will close the entrance once it is full. Beach chair service is not provided here. We love this access point and it is a beautiful walk over the dunes!!

Santa Clara
Ed Walline Regional Beach Access is in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, popular, ADA-accessible spot known for its brilliant white sand, clear turquoise water, and convenient amenities. Located at Scenic 393 and 30A, it features a unique two-story viewing deck for dolphin spotting, lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and picnic shelters. The parking lot is small, but typically plenty of parking on the street. This access is farther than the others from us, but across from Gulf Place Community, which offers shopping, ice cream, and food/drinks. Popular restaurant right across street is Shunk Gulley!!
Santa Clara Regional Beach Access is located in Seagrove, 3.5 miles from Prominence. This beach access has parking, restrooms, ADA ramps, beach service, and lifeguards during peak season. Beach service is provided here from local vendors.

Gulf Lakes
The beach access at Gulf Lakes is half a mile east of Prominence. There is bike parking, a shower, and beach service provided here. There are no restrooms or parking lot for cars. Cars and golf carts do park in the grass across from its entrance. We love this one for nightly crabbing as it is easy access and quick.
Walton Dunes
Located 2.5 miles from Prominence, Walton Dunes is an easily accessible beach entrance! Unlike Deer Lake, there are no stairs/ramps and you can walk right up to the beach. To get there, take 30A and then a left at Lakewood Drive. Follow the curve until you see the parking lot for cars/golf carts. Beach service is provided here from local vendors.
